Bill.com Helps Serpent Speed Racing Chase its Dreams

January 31, 2011

Bill.com, the leader in paperless bill management and payment for small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and CPA firms, today announced the sponsorship of Serpent Speed Racing, LLC., also a Bill.com customer. Serpent Speed Racing is part of the North American Road Racing Association (NARRA) Viper Racing League and Dodge Viper Cup Series, which compete on some of the nation's most prestigious race tracks. Serpent Speed Racing driver David Mazyck's #3 Dodge Viper will sport the Bill.com logo, officially bringing Bill.com into the high-energy sport of auto racing.

Off the track, Mazyck is an Associate Professor at the University of Florida and the CEO of two companies, one of which has a board based in Australia. "Bill.com is exactly what I need to keep my finances in order for both companies while I'm on the go" says Mazyck. "The workflow processes and accessibility Bill.com provides are perfect for working with cross-border companies, and help me easily manage all my finances, anytime and anyplace, so I can stay focused on my businesses — and my racing!"

"We are passionate about helping our customers chase their dreams personally and professionally," said René Lacerte, CEO of Bill.com. "We couldn't be prouder to support David Mazyck both as our customer and as a racer in the Dodge Viper Cup Series. He is chasing his dreams by finding ways to improve the world's water quality and by testing himself on the track. He is literally 'on the go' all the time, showcasing the power of Bill.com and demonstrating the spirit that motivates us to keep pushing the envelope."

In addition to its sponsorship, Bill.com will be involved with other promotional activities at the tracks. More information about the racing league and scheduled events is available here, and more information about David Mazyck is available here.

About Bill.com

Bill.com is an on-demand accounts payable and beta accounts receivable application for CPAs and small and midsized businesses. Bill.com users can receive, route and pay invoices electronically — they never have to touch a paper bill again — resulting in time and cost savings to finance personnel of over 50% versus manual accounts payable and check writing processes. Invoices are emailed, scanned or faxed into the Bill.com service. Digital images of invoices are then routed electronically for approval, ensuring a complete audit trail and eliminating lost or mishandled paper. Bill.com handles check printing and mailing as well as electronic payments, and uses enterprise-class fraud protections that are impractical for small and midsized businesses to implement on their own. Bill.com integrates with popular desktop and on-demand accounting packages, ensuring consistency of financial data and streamlined financial planning, reporting and audit activities. Bill.com has received numerous awards including a 2009 Innovation Award from CPA Technology Advisor, a 4-star rating from PC Magazine, a 2010 Barlow Monarch Innovation Award for innovation in financial services, and was recently named to the Red Herring Global 100.
